The Ross Neurodiversity Integration Framework Training

Introduction to the Ross Neurodiversity Integration Framework (RNIF)

A structured introduction to a longitudinal framework designed to help neurodivergent clients translate therapeutic insight into sustainable real-world change through strengthening internal resources and supporting greater independence within a collaborative framework.

This session explores a common gap in practice, where clients gain understanding in therapy but struggle to maintain change beyond the counselling space. It focuses on the structure and application of the framework, rather than full practitioner training.

The framework centres on what happens after therapy, and why sustainable change is often missing.

Our Next Group Supervision Is 6th of May @6 - 7.30pm

Davida Lumsden

Supervision of counselling practice is a required ethical standard for all counsellors. Davida Lumsden enjoys all aspects of supervision, bringing a wealth of professional experience and specific training to the supervision relationship, recognising the professional responsibility to both practitioner and client. She has been a group supervisor for over 20 years working in Health, Women’s Centres and the Voluntary Sector.

Undertaking regular supervision herself, Davida Is a Senior Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and adheres to their code of ethics. Her qualifications include BA (Hon's), MA, MBCAP (Snr. Accred) Counsellor and Supervisor of Individuals and Groups.

Personal Statement How I work

Trained by Francesca Inskipp I use the Inskipp and Proctor functional model of supervision, and provide an inclusive framework for group participants to gain from the support and experience of peers through-

  1. · the provision of group/peer supervision as a safe space to explore and discuss counselling practice and self-care.
  2. · a space for the practitioners to take time to nurture, maintain and restore the “self”
  3. · a defined contract between the group participants and supervisor

I believe that the importance of supervision in groups offers the opportunity for care for the professional development and personal wellbeing of individual counsellors. The experience of groups supervision as a working alliance includes the knowledge and skills of peers, which enhances a reflective space as either contributor or participant to assist individuals developing and maintaining best practice and a positive model for self-care.

The first Wednesday of every month

from 6.00–7.30pm.

Group supervision provides connection, perspective, and professional support within a safe, respectful environment.

£15 per person.

Counsellor Care Local Meet-Ups

A walk and a coffee

Counselling work can be isolating. This is a simple way to connect with others who understand the work, get some fresh air, and feel less alone, without committing to anything formal.

Meet-Up Hosting

If you would like to host a counsellor meet-up in your local area please get in touch. We will use our considerable network to advertise the event for you.

Locations for counsellor meet-ups

Roberts Park Saltaire, the 1st Saturday of every month

A relaxed monthly walk for counsellors and trainee counsellors who want connection, fresh air, and gentle conversation, without any agenda.

This is a casual, peer-to-peer meet-up, not therapy or supervision. There’s no pressure to share, perform, or talk about work unless you want to. Come as you are.

What to expect:

A gentle, accessible walk (around 45–60 minutes)

Space to chat naturally or walk quietly

An optional coffee at the end for those who’d like to stay

A small, welcoming group of fellow counsellors

You’re welcome to join for the walk, the coffee, or both.

You can contact us to let us know you are coming, or just turn up on the day. Alternatively you can mark yourself as attending on our Facebook page, all upcoming events are pinned to the top of our page.

Our Next Session is 28th April 2026 @8pm

When we qualify as a counsellor that doesn't mean that we are immune from life events.

We still have our inner child and our inner critic, we have families, time of life challenges and financial pressures just like everyone else.

This is a safe space to put some of this stuff down, we are not failing as therapists if we have our own stuff going on, were just human.

Are you ready to care for yourself, the same way you care for your clients and everyone else?
